Install one change, then prove it works.

The safest first run keeps the base game, microphone, and one Pack separate. Check the Pack's source and structure before adding it, then restart and test a short round before installing anything else.

  1. 01

Verify the base game audio first

Use the base game or No Gameplay Demo to confirm microphone detection, recording, and playback before you attribute an audio failure to a Pack.

  2. 02

Inspect the archive before copying files

Confirm the Pack type, expected folder, creator notes, game version, and file types. Treat unexpected executables or scripts as a separate risk.

  3. 03

    Install one Pack and restart

Copy only one Pack into its documented location, restart the game, and confirm that its selector entry appears.

  4. 04

    Test the player-visible result

Run a short round. Check clips, captions, images, and playback rather than stopping at the selector.

  5. 05

Roll back only the newest change

If the result changes, remove the newest Pack folder, restart, and repeat the base test. Keep notes on what you added.

This workflow checks structure and behavior. It does not certify a community download as safe, compatible, or licensed.

Ready to test

  • Base microphone recording and playback work first.
  • The original archive remains outside the game folder.
  • Only one Pack was installed for this test.
  • A short round confirmed the visible and audible result.
  • Removing the newest Pack restores the baseline.
